About the Team

We are an early-stage software startup located in the heart of Silicon Valley. About the product, Enterprise Multi-Cloud Backbone is the new architecture that embraces and extends native public cloud networking constructs and infrastructure to deliver private, multi-region, and multi-cloud transit networking and security services for enterprise IT.

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join the Aviatrix HR Team! The HR generalist is a new role being added due to our growth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in several relevant areas in Staffing and HR functions. We are looking for a person who is willing to jump in, rolling up their sleeves, and adding immediate value to an integral team at a fast-growing tech company!

About the Role

The HR generalist role will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition. This person will be a core member of the team responsible for the following; Involved in the recruiting coordination scheduling, recruiting sourcing candidates, HR administration duties, HR policies documentation, immigration and sponsorship documentation, employee record-keeping, managing employee information and processing changes/HRIS, on-boarding & exit process, payroll support, benefits administration, reporting and analytics, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting coordination and candidate interviewing schedule.
  • Manage employee on-boarding and off-boarding process, including HRIS workflow, communication with employees, and relevant team members.
  • Provide support to employees and managers, administering processes and responding to questions regarding benefits, and other HR policies and programs.
  • Advise and manage immigration policies and cases
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and best practices and use this knowledge to inform People Team programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Maintain records and provide regular and ad-hoc reporting in support of People Team programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Key Requirements

  • 1-4+ years working in Recruiting Coordination/HR role at a fast-growing technology company
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Familiarity with HR-related federal, city & state laws and regulations
  • Immigration experience and managing different work authorization
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Suites, and HRIS systems
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving tech environment with excellent organization and follow-through skills.

Education

  • A BA or BS degree.
