He lived on the Hampton Road east of the village of Exeter on the southwest corner where the road leaves the Hampton Road and goes to Kensington. It has generally been in the possession of the Folsom family. He was a shrewd and active businessman and acquired much property. He was known as Lieutenant Peter in the records of the town church.
